The project started with 18 months of public funds from the Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration (EDA) totaling $2.02M. This investment is matched with $3M in additional funds from private and state sources.
The Council on Competitiveness is the lead agency on the EDA grant, and is the secretariat and fiduciary for the project. Partners and co-applicants in the EDA grant include:

OEMs will benefit through increased efficiency in collaborations with their supply chain, and increased confidence in their suppliers to rapidly innovate. The matching funds are a combination of cash, in-kind support (personnel and software) and a dedicated hardware cluster at Ohio Supercomputer Center.
