The Definition of my topic (Homelessness) is the circumstance when people are without a permanent dwelling, such as a house or apartments. Being homeless is effecting the youth and families. Because kids need something to eat they need a roof over their heads. Homelessness are often most often unable to acquire and maintain regular, safe, secure and adequate housing due to lack of, or a steady income. People that are homeless don’t have jobs because people now a days are jerks and they look at them differently because their clothes or they haven’t showered in a while.A lot of the time they have no money so they have to live on the streets next to dumpster or in subways and they are all hungry so they go through trash cans just for food or they will beg people for some money so they can get by on that day. They go day by day not knowing if they are going to survive even in the cold they are all alone and its freezing or snowing and the temperature is like below 50 and they can a real bad cold like Hypothermia, Dry Skin, Asthma, or even the worst one Pneumonia.The population of homeless people in the world is about 1.6 billion. The country Manila, Philippines is about 3.1 million homeless people just in that country that is a lot of people. The current world population of 7.2 billion is projected to increase by 1 billion over the next 12 years and reach 9.6 billion by 2050. So 3.1 million people out of 7.2 billion people in the world are homeless that’s a lot of people. The mains reasons why people are homeless is because they may have a big drug problem, they live in a big city so buy a place to stay is too much money, or they just don’t want to have to get a job to have a bit of money. Sometimes they will turn to robber stores or selling drugs to get a place to stay instead of sleep in the subways or in parks.People are apart the learn about our residential recovery program. Volunteers help our residents along their journey of recovery by tutoring them as they work toward the educational or vocational goals that they need, or by teaching a special skill. The opinion of the public also influences the solutions developed on local and national levels. Solutions can also be implemented from community level to global scales. From executing mandates to build affordable housing to the creation of global and local organizations or tribes and even eradicated.
